Kings Of Fools – Wouldn’t Know Me

King Of Fools are a 3 piece Punk Rock ‘N’ Roll band from London which includes Liam Marr from Booze and Glory. Liam who is joined by Al on guitar and Mario on Drums has swapped guitar for the stand-up bass and have produced the best debut single I have heard in a long time.

To kick things off is the brilliant ‘Wouldn’t Know Me’ a song that got my blood pumping from the off. Liam’s bass rattles along beautifully with Al’s excellent guitar and gives us just under 3 minutes of Punk Rock N Roll which would get any audience bouncing along. Next up is ‘Nowhere Else To Go’ which shows the bands passion for their music, and see themselves as part of a family rather than a scene.

For me the gem of this release is the final song ‘Further To Fall’. Starting with a country feel of just acoustic guitar and slide guitar and Liam’s gruff vocals, but after 30 seconds the bass, guitar and drums kick in and the rest of the song is nothing short of outstanding.

King Of Fools show that Rock ‘N’ Roll is alive and kicking albeit with fantastic punk energy.
